Decision No. 1462/QD-TTg, 23 August 2011: By 2020, Lam Dong Province will be built into a fairly developed province in the Central Highlands with services accounting for a high proportion in economic structure; basically comprehensive and modern infrastructure; a developed education and training system to provide human resources to serve growth; increasingly improved material and cultural life of the people; and ensured national defence and security.
Decision No. 1633/QD-UBND, 29 July 2011: Develop the trading sector of Lam Dong Province comprehensively and coherently with the local potential, making good use of the province's competitive advantages and protecting the environment for sustainable development; make trade an impetus for the development of the manufacture and services sectors, contributing to changing the local economic structure and labour division and fulfill the province's socio-economic development targets; develop trade in conjunction with the socio-economic development master plans of the province and the country.
Decision No. 1369/QD-UBND, 25 June 2010: To utilize the advantages of natural conditions, traditions and cultural-historical values to develop effectively and sustainably the tourism sector of Lam Dong province; quickly turning the tourism sector into a provincial key economic force; cooperating with national agencies to build a brand for Vietnam's tourism as a safe and friendly destination and to make Da Lat become a tourism centre of Highland regions and Vietnam.
Decision No. 06/2009/QD-UBND, 6 February 2009: By 2010, each urban household has a concrete apartment or house. Disadvantaged and low-income households and civil servants have appropriate houses. These are preconditions and background for urban housing development, including social housing from now to 2010 and the following years.
